İŞİTME ENGELLİ ÇOCUKLARDA DENGE PROBLEMLERİ VE REHABİLİTASYON YÖNTEMLERİ

Özet


İşitme engeli, her iki kulakta birden, konuşmayı anlayamayacak seviyede işitme kaybı olmasıdır. İşitme organlarıyla vestibüler sistemin nöroanatomik olarak yakın ilişkisinden dolayı koklea, semisirküler kanal ya da ikisinin birden zarar gördüğü durumlar denge bozukluğu ile sonuçlanabilir. Bu yüzden normal işiten çocuklara göre temel motor becerilerde daha geride kalabilirler. Aileler ve öğretmenler çocukların denge problemlerinden yakınmalarına rağmen; rehabilitasyon programlarında düzenli denge egzersizi programları bulunmamaktadır. Literatürde işitme engelli çocuklarla yapılan çalışmaların çocukların statik ve dinamik denge fonksiyonlarını geliştirdiği gösterilmiştir.  Bu derleme işitme engelli çocuklarda denge sorunlarını ve egzersizlerin denge üzerinde etkilerini tartışmaktadır. Çalışmanın sonuçları işitme engelli çocukların tedavi programlarına düzenli denge egzersizlerinin eklenmesi gerektiğini desteklemektedir. Konuyla ilgili daha fazla çalışmaya ihtiyaç vardır.
